Dave Zinanni
Mayoral Candidate
Dave Zinanni is a dedicated public servant with over 30 years of experience in law enforcement and community leadership. As a retired Kankakee Sheriff’s Department officer, he has worked tirelessly to ensure public safety.
Dave currently serves as the President of the Board of Commissioners at the Bourbonnais Township Park District and as Chair of the River Valley Special Recreation (RVSR). He is passionate about youth programs and has been involved in coaching football, wrestling, and a local boxing club.

Dave is committed to fiscal responsibility, lowering taxes, improving public safety, and promoting transparency in government. He believes in a government that serves the people—not political interests.

Khamseo “Kym” Nelson
Candidate for Bourbonnais Clerk
Khamseo “Kym” Nelson is a cancer survivor, mother, and dedicated public servant. She currently serves as the Deputy Clerk for Bourbonnais, where she has gained extensive experience in finance, administration, and marketing.
With a strong financial background, Kym is ready to bring efficiency, transparency, and accountability to the Clerk’s office.

Lindsey Patterson is a mother, volleyball coach, and Payroll & Benefits Coordinator for Bourbonnais Elementary School District 53. She understands the importance of strong public services and responsible budgeting.
As an active member of the community, Lindsey wants to ensure fiscal integrity and economic growth while keeping Bourbonnais a great place for families.
